Nina Milano, founder of La Thérapie SPA AT PRESTON, moved to the United States from Croatia in
1993. She first lived in New York where she became a Licensed Aesthetician after attending
the nationally recognized Christine Valmey School of Aesthetics and also the renowned
Wilfred Academy of Cosmetology. She practiced aesthetics in New York for few years prior
to moving to the Triangle in 1998.
Nina further honed her expertise in skin care working as a Licensed Aesthetician in
physician office medical spas. She believes that skin care is a part of overall health care
and that it is critical to use the very best skin care products and techniques in caring for
the skin.
In 2002, Nina opened La Thérapie SPA AT PRESTON with a very small staff and limited space. As
her reputation grew, she realized that expansion was necessary. In January 2004, she
opened her current facility, tripling the size of the spa to 5,000 square feet and increasing
the staff to 20. La Thérapie SPA AT PRESTON has thrived due in large part to Nina’s constant
research into new products, treatments and services. Nina travels annually to Europe
where spa trends normally originate. European treatments, especially in the area of skin
care, use cutting edge technology and are
generally very holistic in their approach.
Nina incorporates these advances in the treatment
protocols and products used by the technicians
at La Thérapie. Nina is both an owner and
aesthetician, always in demand to a loyal group
of clients who have enjoyed her services and
benefited from her superior
knowledge of skin
care for many years.
La Thérapie SPA AT PRESTON, under
